This won’t be too long, it’s just a small thing I’ve been pondering and wanted to talk about. There are just so many assumptions and theories within the video game fandom that we can only hope the companies can clear them up as fact or fiction.
Going into one of my favourite game franchises, I’ve always wondered why in the anime Ash in the main character and not Red who is in the manga and game. One is a famous cover boy whose aim for the past 16 years to be a Pokémon Master, the other is the first protagionst of the game franchise achieving his goals.

This is for the anime, not the game (which came out in 1996). But I am still going to talk about both. I know I am late on the specific date. The game was released on February 27th 1996 and the anime was released on April 1st 1997.
We all know the story right? And the differences between the anime and game? Good. Then let’s continue…
