JYPE’s current status as a ‘Big 3′ company?

In life, there are things that are usually more popular than others. People, events and even trends. In the music industry, this happens quite often with idols and artists being more successful than others and their companies given the spotlight too. In K-Pop, I think it’s the opposite where most fans focus upon the label of where the idols came from. The Big 3 companies (SM, JYP and YG) are an example of this being the most popular music labels in Korea.

After reading this article, I’ve noticed JYPE in the last few years has been in the decline. It used to be my favourite label of idols but 2PM and Wonder Girls are the only groups I like. Even these groups are slowly becoming irrelevant and the fault is in JYP and the company. Home to creating stars such as Rain, Wonder Girls and g.o.d, it looks like JYP may lose its reputation as a Big 3 company to other competitors. Well, at least that’s the way I see it.

MY GIRLS ARE BACK BUT…

I am happy that my favourite girl group are back to pick up from the slack that was 2DT even though I did enjoy the song. The thing is, the people who are disappointed make a point. I’ve been a fan of Wonder Girls for 4 years and my excitement went downhill. The teasers and concept were on point. But then the 30sec preview then the MV came out…

Me, In could have been the title track – didn’t JYP say it wasn’t going to be a retro song but pop? The concept is great. The teasers are great (and misleading). I just expected so much better of the song that’s all. :/The MV was what I expected with the song. In my opinion, they could have been a fierce pop song at least for their comeback. But in all honesty, after 2DT people expected a lot better than what they heard from the 30sec preview. I was one of the disappointed yes but in fact, the song has grown on me. Why? Because it sounds retro/Christmas-y and it’s the Wonder Girls style. The girls must have been used to the retro style and honestly, this is still retro and pop.

JYP, I don’t know if it’s because you are focused on Dream High 2’s OST but you should have paid more attention to Wonder World.  Frankly, I’m enjoying it more and more. And I can see also Jonte’s influence in this dance. I’ll support Wonder Girls and learn the dance but not too impressed still, the rest of the album is amazing .

Past Conference Reaction #2: Wronging 2PM

Investigation #1: The culprit who exposed Jay’s incident
Investigation #2: Why ex-2PM fans on 2ONEDAY are now Jay fans
Investigation #3: Five people in fault for the situation of 2PM and Jay.

Regarding that the Jay and 2PM situation is over and done with, the media still doesn’t let it go – “ex-2PM leader Jaebeom,” “rivalry between Jay and JYP in the charts,” “private issue.” Personally, I can’t let go because I feel that I haven’t digged into the situation enough and done a proper analysis, I know many people would me posting this but…I. DON’T. CARE.

This is my blog and I know some people feel the same way as me and are still healing like they want to know who’s at fault. Well, let’s look at the five suspects that created this: Jay, JYPE, 2PM, the media and…YOU.

2Weekly Poll #1 Results

So, recently I added a poll not long two weeks ago with the question as: “What situation should happen next?” and the three responses as: “Jay and 2PM should meet personally,
2PM should get a new show,
JYPE should release a new artist to the JYP family.”

For this first poll that I created is solely in the interest of what should happen around people who have come into contact with JYPE.

And the winner of the result is…

Gave me 2 Different Tears…

…Tears of Joy. Tears of Pain. Yes, that’s exactly what JYPE has given me for the past three years of K-Pop. Besides bring back the Wonder Girls who I have waited for almost a year for, there still lies the issue with the state JYP is in.

They are going to have to make up for the last 9 months since JYPE took a tumble and well, people started to change their opinions towards the company. But really, who can trust or have a good opinion about any of the music entertainment companies in Korea? They all provide slave contracts that are still not dealt with! First Jaebeom, then Sun Mi. Who’s next from JYP? Joo?!

I was wrong…sorry 1:59PM

Upon reading what Me from my previous post send me on a person who actually got audio footage of the JYPE conference. After reading what that person has wrote, I guess you can say I’ll still be a fan and honestly, I still care for the members perhaps they lost their temper at a lot of fans or they are actually moving on without Jay and forgetting about him but who’s to believe? It’s the internet! People can twist things up unless it’s from the official person themselves.

Aftermath details of JYP Conference

credit to: 2ONEDAY and Eurice, member of 2ONEDAY.

Fame seems to have changed the 2PM members.

This quote sums up everything for me:

“One person was able to save six members, but how could six members not be able to save one.” – CREDITS : DAUM (SOURCE) ; hazyfiasco@2ONEDAY.COM

Ellie gives a better opinion on Jaebeom that I do.

Thank you Eurice, a member of 2ONEDAY who is currently in Korea and went to the JYPE press conference. She (I assume) has opened my eyes to what 2PM 1:59PM are really like and what I believed for the past what…? 9-10 months that they were fake. I’m not becoming an anti, forget what I wrote.

Now what you are about to read is the honest truth from Eurice’s posts on 2ONEDAY. And if any of the Hottest at 2ONEDAY have read from the information she provided, they will know how I feel.
