Did you guys have a nice New Years? My annual report has been completed thanks to WordPress. I think it’s pretty cute so I wanted to share it with you all! After taking a look at Nia’s Hope and Dreams for 2013, I thought I would do my own plus share with you all my New Year Resolutions since we are all in the new year now.
[This was written before Oda Sakura's addition] Even though I’m always more involved in the K-Pop community in London, I’ve been listening to more Japanese music preferably Hello!Project. And Hello!Project has been improving with the results showing in sales. Most importantly, the current era of Morning Musume – the Colourful Era – is looking to do much better than the Platinum era.
May 13th will be the day I cry. You may think I’m exaggerating but Niigaki has been my favourite member since I first found the group and I loved her instantly. And now she is leaving?! Great…-_-
She has honestly been the ugly step-sister to UFA and in the background of Takahashi Ai even though they are good friends, I shouldn’t be surprised she’s leaving but still…
This is the continuous part 1 of how I got into J-pop. Jeez, I can’t believe I’ve been listening to the music this long. I am honestly surprised at myself. Five years ago on this month, I began listening to Asian Pop. I’ve repeated this story so many times that it’s become a thing where I’m able to remember what year I got into what my feelings where then. Also, tell me if you have a Morning Musume (or Hello!Project) story or have a 5 year or more story into Asian Pop. Continue reading
Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!
There’s a reason why I can see people want new and younger people in a group now – because they bring a lot of attention (e.g fans especially older men who like to look at someone young) and gain popularity for the group. I was so glad to come back from a Japanese day out to see that the 9th generation members were revealed. And to my surprise instead of it being 2-3 like I guessed, it turned out 4 members have been decided upon. I hope these four help rise MoMu’s popularity back and yes, dare I say to AKB48 fans – fight back!! That group is purely fanservice in my opinion.
Take a look at the girls below.
Hello! Project (ハロー!プロジェクト). The company that holds many Japanese and International fans favourite J-Pop artists.
In Hello!Project, who’s your favourite act in 2010 and who do you expect out of more?
