Got to say in terms of 2010, it’s been a pretty tiresome year. J-Pop has made me realise some things that I never knew before – in a negative way. K-Pop has just upset me so much despite comebacks of my favourites and news that depressed me. It’s not all been so bad but…I had kind of hoped from all the artists that came back (e.g. Queens of J-Pop were present this year, BoA and Se7en who have been seen for years) that they would have a bigger success than usual.

With ratings reasonably well-received by the audience and another notable start like other K-dramas, Cinderella Sister/신데렐라 언니, in my opinion differs from other dramas e.g. Goong, Coffee Prince etc.
At first, it came to my attention to watch the drama because as a 2PM fan, I was interested in how Taecyeon’s acting skills were and how well he would do. But upon watching the first episode, I was immediately hooked (like all the other K-dramas have) but this was because it isn’t your typical high school working-middle class love story like Boy Over Flowers, so far I have watched five episodes to review shortly:

Although Koda Kumi’s Gossip Candy was supposed to be predicted to have pretty good songs and has a really good cover but after hearing reviews, I really agree with people’s opinion that the songs aren’t worth listening too.

Looks like we have reached the end of an eventful year in J-Pop and especially, K-Pop. I would like to say, despite my lack of knowledge of the J-Pop World for 3 years, I can say the world of J-Pop and K-Pop seemed more calmer at the start of the year compared to the drama that later unfolding in the following months. Let’s recap what happened in the year of 2009 of J-Pop and K-Pop, from my standards and choices, of course.
It’s been a while since I’ve cried for 2PM during the Jaebeom situation but now that they are back with an album (13 good tracks if I do say myself, I’m impressed!) The music video has been added in.
I’ve missed them…so much. T_T
It’s finally time to praise the companies who have decided to listen to my words and put out the boys for my our desire.

Maki Goto has come a long way since 10 years ago, she was the sole 3rd generation member of Morning Musume that I think, lead them to success with Love Machine.
But now 2 years later, Maki Goto has released a mini-album in collaboration with SWEET BLACK. I thought that I would take some time but she doesn’t seem to disappoint me – much.
You’ll see what I mean when you read the article.

Anyways, I had a look at Epik High’s new album.
Koda Kumi, my favourite J-Pop/Urban artist, is releasing another single this year entitled Alive/Physical Thing on 2009.09.16.
Oh how I love Koda Kumi’s autumn/winter songs during the last four months of the year because they are mostly upbeat dance songs and they sound really good. And after these four months are up, a new album comes out at the start of the next year.
