So May 18th saw Niigaki Risa (my most favourite Morning Musume and Hello!Project member) and Mitsui Aika (whom I joined around the time I got in to the group) graduate. I thought I’d talk about the two.

Like La’aKea said in the H!O thread, “From the moment that I discovered Morning Musume, I have been a Risa fan.” I think that’s true for me because from the moment I saw Sakura Mankai back in 2006, I instantly loved Niigaki Risa. I don’t know what it was maybe it was her big smile but I really liked her the most and she stood out for me in that PV despite her not being in it for so long. From then on, I became a fan of Niigaki proudly. I remember hearing in 2009 that Ai-chan and Gaki-san were the longest serving members of Morning Musume and it made me happy to hear that Niigaki is the longest being in the group for 12 years now? A title like that for my favourite member makes me smile.

Aika Mitsui came into the group a little later than when I first found them. I loved her instantly because she looked so cute and she is the only member of Morning Musume to be the same age as me. She has such a bubbly personality and such a beautiful smile, I just wish we got to see Mitsui develop more. But for the short time that I watched Hello Pro Time! last year, it was nice to see her interact with the other members and what surprises me is her friendship with Mai of °C-ute.
Unfortuantely, I feel that I never really followed Morning Musume these past 6 years. I’ve put it in my past entry that I regret not being on H!O more and I really do. I could have been updated, made friends and talked about the past graduations. But now, my interest in H!P seems to be only revived with the leaving of two of my favourites. I once dreamed of meeting them one day. I don’t know why the time I went to Japan I didn’t just go to their concert even though I didn’t know if it was on at the time or not. But I would have had the chance to say I’ve seen them both in concert but I guess I feel I will never get to see them. 
I’ve cried enough as I write this entry. Instead, I’ll support Morning Musume as I have been doing but much more! I wonder how the Sayu reign will be from now on but I am shocked at the announcement of the 11th gen, does that mean we might get to see Cuca? How old is she anyways?
