K.U.N.A

You may have seen me on tumblr making edits of K.U.N.A and may remember my old post calling them United 4, you may not have. To explain what K.U.N.A is, it is the combination of Koda Kumi, Utada Hikaru, Namie Amuro and Ayumi Hamasaki’s names together – K.U.N.A. It’s what I hope is a collab between these four artists in the future so I combine their names together for a unit name.

The Good-bye Party (2011.2 Mashup)

Masamixes recently created another mashup, The Good-bye Party (2011.2 Mashup), and I’ve made some time to create a dance cover from it. Not such good lighting as the one I did last summer but still, I really enjoyed this mashup.

And here’s my previous one:

Mashups include: ADIOS 2008 (K-pop special mashup), HOT K-POP 2009 ~ special mashup pt. I ~, Kpop Girl Power (Girlgroup special mashup) and HOT K-POP 2009 ~ special mashup pt. II ~

JAPONESQUE: Best Koda Kumi album since flawless Kingdom.

When Kuu releases an album with every single song having an PV, you know it’s going to be awesome. It beats out her previous three albums and is on the same level as KINGDOM. I don’t normally do reviews but for a queen in K.U.N.A, I will because this album is worth it – pretty short though. A link to all the songs in HQ quality is here.

K-Pop: A new force in the UK

(This article is what I wrote for my Journalism assignment. Some of my friends and followers wanted me to upload it so here it is! It’s supposed to be non-bias yet catchy to the reader, enjoy!)

The UK is in for a big surprise with a new trend spreading to the West. And it’s called K-Pop.

Take a minute to think about your first impression of South Korea. How would you describe it? What about the music? If anything, it’s not all traditional as people would think it is. In fact, there is a growing trend in the UK called “K-Pop.”

What Kids think of K-Pop who have no clue about it!

Kids React to K-Pop

I absolutely was hoping that Kids React would NEVER do K-Pop. One thing I noticed is their reactions to certain things that we all say about K-Pop: generic, catchy tunes etc. And the way these kids see it is Justin Bieber/Selena Gomez/Lady Gaga stuff and they all look the same. What didn’t surprise me is that most of them thought they were Japanese or Chinese.

Also, some people are getting so angry over what the kids are saying that they want to stab them – with forks! They are kids and that is their mindless opinion of Kpop artists. Is this the first time some of you Kpop fans have seen people who don’t know anything about the genre react? Check out the deleted scenes too and tell me what you think!

Bye Niigaki Risa it’s been a good 6 years supporting you!

May 13th will be the day I cry. You may think I’m exaggerating but Niigaki has been my favourite member since I first found the group and I loved her instantly. And now she is leaving?! Great…-_-

She has honestly been the ugly step-sister to UFA and in the background of Takahashi Ai even though they are good friends, I shouldn’t be surprised she’s leaving but still…
