I never thought I would get to meet Ayumi. It’s so rare to meet one of K.U.N.A. I waited 8 hours in the cold but it was worth it for Ayumi but I am not doing that again.
Me and my friend embarked on the day to Ayumi’s hotel at 10AM after getting the location a day before. We met a lovely Japanese Ayu fan there called Asako. She was there the day before for 14 hours and leaving the hotel at 3:30AM, some of the hotel staff remembered her.
We got word from one of the staff Mitsu (the Half-Irish, Half-Japanese guy she had been working with recently) that she would be coming after 3PM. Fast forward to about 5PM and 3 fans became 11: 4 Japanese fangirls and 2 fanboys, 2 Korean fanboys, 1 Spanish fanboy and me and my friend as the only Black-British girls there.
Around 5:30PM, me and my friend were getting so tired and cold that we actually went into the hotel through th e side door to go toliet. I have never felt so out of place because this place was CLASS! I’m not surprised Ayu has money for a hotel where there is an attendant to turn on the tap for you and leave tips for.
But at least that’s when one of the hotel staff came outside and told us Ayumi would be coming soon. What was weird was that she came out of a car which meant she was out all night and wasn’t at the hotel at all.
I never thought Ayumi was so small! From the heels and dresses she wears, she looks so tall. But she’s only 2cm shorter than me (I’m 158cm). She is very beautiful though and I wanted to look at her eyes and see if they were lenses or if her eyes were really that big but I was too amazed to be standing next to her. And she speaks English very well, a slight accent but no matter!
The way she grabbed me for the photo was fanservice but I loved it. She had her hand around my waist!
So now Rain has touched my hand, Dok2 has touched my back and Ayumi has grabbed my waist! Next, I’m putting my leg on Junsu!!
I got her to sign my autograph book and then sign my kanji book. I told her I was learning Japanese and she said “Amazing” to me. After everyone got their photos taken, we took a group picture with her then Ayumi took all her gifts from the fans and left. It was worth 8 hours – that’s longer than when I waited for SHINee outside their hotel for 6 hours.
An amazing opportunity. Nothing like being in the right place at the right time. She is absolutely gorgeous!

You must be very lucky. I am not much of an Ayu fan (I am more of a Kuu~ bitch btw…), but she still manages to be on top of everything she does.
