There’s so much I have to say about Dok2’s concert so I’ll try to give as much detail as possible.
When me and my friends got to the Coronet Theatre, we had a basket full of gifts that we had to wrap up together. The presents were bought by us and other fans who helped out for the Welcome Project that two of my friends (Jessica and Sharan) and me organised weeks before. They were promoters but they got me in to give him the gift personally. I was so shocked that I got to walk in with them and the girl who took us up to meet Dok2 was so lovely, she was a Jaywalker so you can imagine how happy me and Sharan were. When we saw him, he was tired but he was very grateful for the gifts we gave him.
Then he asked if we wanted to take pictures with him and we were all like “Ok!” I WAS SO CLOSE TO HIM BUT I WISH HE PUT HIS HAND AROUND MY WAIST. Then when all the pictures were done, he signed Jessica and Sharan’s album. He asked me if I wanted to sign anything but I felt bad and said no because I didn’t buy his album. T__T I didn’t tell you that he’s only like 2cm taller than me but he’s so FINE. HIS ACCENT WAS UNF. His English was so good but he did seem like he had to think of some words first before he spoke. LOL.
When we left him with the gifts, we went down to the lobby and waited for a while then he came down unexpectedly and said hi to me. Then I froze for a while, waved and hit Sharan’s arm. He was asking where JonB of KpopTeam was and we were like “There! There!”
We were also the first people to chill with him at the meet ‘n’ greet. AGAIN, I WASN’T SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. He signed a picture with me and talked a while. He said he wants to bring Jay Park here and have a concert together. I also said I loved his song “Just Follow” with Hyuna and he said thank you. The fans started to come and get their own autographs and pictures, he did mention to a fan that he was so tired. Then when the fanmeet was done, the Jaywalker girl who took us to meet Dok2 asked if everyone got what they wanted and I said:
“Can I give him a hug?”
“What? Me or him?”
“Him.”
She told me to ask him so I said “Dok2, can I give you a hug?”
“Yeah, sure.”
IF IT WASN’T FOR ME, EVERYONE ELSE WOULDN’T DO IT AFTER ME (excluding my friends because they aren’t) And Sammiie, YOU HAVE COMPETITION. So then afterwards, the concert started and I’m going to upload my video of all my favourite songs he performed below:

I searched Dok2 and black women and found this blog. Good for you girl! Haha, Dok2 really appreciated your gifts, I saw his twitter post of them a few days ago. I’ve never actually meant someone else that was studying Korean here (I’m from the USA). Good luck with that, if you need help email [kiseu08@aol.com]. Hope this wasn’t too weird but here people who identify as “black” can kind of lock themselves into the idea it’s not “black” to like other “cultures”. So I had to show some love. Plus, right now I’m getting into Dok2 more (I had All Black’s stuff before) and Crucial Star too (check out Youtube for Chocholic(rebirth) and the remix on Found Tracks Vol.5.
