Here are the videos I uploaded with the performances and pictures on here. Hope you enjoy and watch a lot so the views go up a lot!
Note: I didn’t record every performance because even though I had two memory cards, my battery was running out. There is more information on the concert below.
The first day of SM Town Paris ended very well for fans who attended the concert. I arrived with friends the day before. On the 10th, we went to go check out how many people were there. At 12, we thought we should get check out how many fans were there. There was quite a lot so we stayed so we were pretty much there for 6 hours (except for when my friends went McDonalds to eat). Lightsticks and bottles were given out for free. They had a stall inside and out selling merchandise so I bought a Eunhyuk (for my friend), Taemin and U-Know fan.
A friend of mine who got there early the day before said she went to go check if there was anyone waiting there beforehand. There was. Fans were camping overnight and she managed to see Taemin, Key, Amber, Victoria (who waved at fans) and SNSD. Time went slow but we made friends and I went to see my other friend and other UK SONE’s.
Out of all the fandoms, I would say this is the order of most popular to least popular:
1) ELFs/Shawols – ELFs were everywhere and giving lightsticks to EVERYONE. I would also say there was a LOT of Shawols with T-shirts and such but I think a lot of people loved SHINee that cheered for them.
2) Cassies – So many Cassies with banners etc. I was very happy. ^__^
3) SONEs – UK Sones were there and quite a number of fanboys. My friend told me there was an old man who was there for for SNSD. When cheering, Hyoyeon got the most cheers followed by Sunny.
4) f(x) fans (f(x) doesn’t have an official fanclub name remember?) – People cheered for f(x) but there wasn’t much fans outside the venue who were very expressive about them. Loads of people cheered for Amber.
It really felt like most of Europe was in that venue. Where I sat (at first, then I went to the standing area), I was surrounded by Spanish, French, Italian and Swedish K-Pop fans. There was also Korean fans that came too with their big cameras.
I’m not really sure whether that rumour about Korean fans buying those tickets before the concert was true or not because the seats were full. Some fans even cried before and after the concert.
I was grateful to be one of the first 12000 European K-Pop fans to see a K-Pop concert start worldwide in Paris. Really, me and some UK fans (not just in London but around the UK) need to come together and do something different to attract attention.
SHINee are coming to Abbey Road Studios next week so London fans – make banners and show SHINee your love!!
Thank you so much for your videos! They were the first in my subscriptions yesterday so I saw them even before the official SMTOWN ones lol I was so jealous but spazzing at the same time as if I was there. Not as much SoShi in your vid as I had hoped, but I do remember you saying you’re not a big fan of them. Still really enjoyed it! Shinee and F(x) are my next faves at SM and you had plenty of them. Damn Taemin has some moves on him!!
Europeans are lucky to mostly be concentrated in a smaller area, the traveling is not as bad. I’m American and I know we have SMTOWNs in L.A, but a lot of K-Pop fans are really far and not highly concentrated in any certain geographical area. I’m in Chicago…. highly doubt we’d ever get an SMTOWN here. I am very happy for European fans, just hating a little, have to admit that! Good luck to UK fans on all your endeavors. Are you all trying to get an SMTOWN or just any K-Pop performance in general?
I missed A LOT of performances so I wish I had another camera to take more videos.
Well…people have been creating Facebook groups to get SM and YG to come to the UK but it’s in planning mode. I think the people who organised it need to plan quickly so us UK fans have a better idea because so far, nothing is happening. With France as an example, we should be able to do it at least!!

Glad to hear that Hyoyeon had such loud cheers though, at least she’s top in popularity in Europe, I hope she was happy!! I’m so jealous that u got cute fans

I feel like u guys have a really nice Kpop community there so you should be able to work something out, especially with the petitions to get YG and others to come

Yeah, there were quite a few expressive f(x) fans with purple t-shirts and fans but they REALLY need a fanclub name and colour quick!!
She was VERY happy ^__^ Yes, I’m going to try and see SHINee at Abbey Road Studios – if there isn’t as much crazy fans as me. Our community is mainly in London so we need to properly expand it to fans in Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
