BEAST may be next for the Silent Treatment at Dream Concert

I’ve only been watching Dream Concert since 2009 but I’ve noticed every so often if an artist or their fandom seems really irritated in another fandom’s eyes, the silent treatment happens in Dream Concert. From my definition, the silent treatment refers to a partake in turning off glowsticks in the Dream Concert towards a group that has propely seen hell in Korea. For example, 2008 was SNSD‘s time. 2010 was for 2PM. And it looks like it’s BEAST turn.

But the reason why it’s BEAST’s turn doesn’t make sense to me at all. Because the only reason it is BEAST’s turn is because it’s the K-B2UTY’s that have caused this apparently.

MCM Rain Event 110125

The best day of my life. Anyone who didn’t come regretted it. Rain. In London. Touched My Hand.

Mind you, I believe that I’m normal – in fangirl level. I didn’t try and attack him, I just shook his hand. I don’t know who said “Annyeonghaesyo” but it wasn’t me. Just the screaming of “He touched my hand”. ^_^ But even though he only said “hello” and “thanks” to fans, I think he’s really nice considering that he came straight out of the limo (Yep!) and shook hands with fans straight away and since there was only 70-80 of us, we didn’t want to crowd him too much, I mean behind him when he shook my hand there was nobody trying to get him.

Express My Views #4: New fans of K-Pop

NOTE: This is a long post but worth it. If you are a new fan, a guide is at the bottom if you want to read it. And if you don’t like my posts, don’t read it. It seems negative but don’t worry too much.

Let me start by telling you that this topic is quite touchy to me because I have no problem with people getting into it, it’s just the actual people to be honest. But being into it for 4 years (come February), I’ve noticed there are two types
of new fans since 2009: the dumb fans or know-it-all fans. But I’ll just tell you my view on New Fans in general.

Takahashi Ai is graduating too!

There’s so much things I could write about each person when they graduate but I don’t have much to say really, I’m shocked because it’s now that it is really happening but I also expected her time to come soon. I just felt the need to write this after hearing Jin and going onto Hello!Online for news. Takahashi Ai who has been in Morning Musume for 10 long years (along with Niigaki Risa, who will be leader afterwards) is now graduating.

She’s what…24 now? It was only a matter of time and with the new members in who are half her age, I wonder who get the spotlight as the main vocalist. Of course, it would be Reina but who will back her up? Niigaki? Aika? Riho? I didn’t like Takahashi Ai when I first got into Morning Musume back in 2006, I don’t know why but I’ve grown to like her over the years.

What’s get me is that she is graduating from both Morning Musume and Hello!Project which kind of upsets me because I think she would do well as a solo artist in my opinion. But I wish her the best of luck in the future whatever she wants to do.

HoMin (TVXQ) is back!

Now THIS is how you start 2011. And to reassure people that the year will definitely be amazing – well from the start of it.

I actually don’t want to see any 2010 groups this year. I know miss A is going to China but I don’t know about the other hopefuls. All I want to see is 2009 groups and before that. Like Joo, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, Jay Park (FUCK YEAH!) Big Bang (Seung Ri Solo too!), 4minute, JYJ and OHMYGOD HOMIN!!.

Morning Musume will rise again!

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!

There’s a reason why I can see people want new and younger people in a group now – because they bring a lot of attention (e.g fans especially older men who like to look at someone young) and gain popularity for the group. I was so glad to come back from a Japanese day out to see that the 9th generation members were revealed. And to my surprise instead of it being 2-3 like I guessed, it turned out 4 members have been decided upon. I hope these four help rise MoMu’s popularity back and yes, dare I say to AKB48 fans – fight back!! That group is purely fanservice in my opinion.

Take a look at the girls below.
