Last four months of 2010 in K-Pop, what are we expecting?

Like the new layout for the rest of 2010? ^_^

Due to good response on last year’s post, I thought I’d do another. This time, it’s divided into Confirmed and Predictions.

Can’t believe this year will be the my 3rd year (since 2008) watching Gayo Daejun.

Confirmed:

2NE1:

Honestly, they will impress everyone just like last year. They always do well but that’s the thing. Because everyone knows that 2NE1 are great, charming and grab everyone’s attention, I cannot put them on my top 5 girl group list yet. Sure they were my #1 back in May 2009 but that’s because of the hype. There are other girl groups who need praise too e.g T-ara, f(x)

I will see whether 2NE1′s new album, To Anyone on September 9th can prove if they should be on my Top 5 but like I said, they are bound to do well without my help. 2NE1 Hwaiting!

BEAST:

Aw~ I cannot wait for BEAST to come back either September/October ^_^ Especially since it will be their 1st anniversary in October But it depends remember? Until Yo Seob recovers from surgery (not plastic, he has a reason).

Man, BEAST have had such a good first year and I can’t wait to see them comeback to the music screen.

Big Bang:

Feels like 2008 when the Stand Up teaser was released and Haru Haru came out to make everyone cry T_T I miss those times, I wonder what kind of song they will bring to the K-Pop scene.

I think it will be good too since we’ve seen each member promote separately with singles and albums or doing acting so it will be good to see them all together then on the stage either October/November.

Jewelry:

I’m intrigued to see what two new members will come into the group and whether this album will be any good without Jung Ah and In Young. I like their songs but not too into the group but it should be interesting. Should be expecting them in September.

KARA:

It would be nice to see KARA come back. Heard Japan was successful but come on, it was successful for SNSD and 4minute too so…really, no big deal to me.

Lupin was a really good track this year so I’m hoping better from KARA in September. I think I’m just a little annoyed it’s not a full album and another mini album. They really annoy me.

T-ara:

I LOVE T-ARA. And they keep on getting better. After their 1st anniversary in July, I can’t wait to see what they bring in September, it should be an upgrade from Bo Peep Bo Peep and I Go Crazy Because of You.

Predictions:

2PM:

Please. Please don’t come back. End of this year, I don’t want to hear a 2PM comeback right now. Maybe…next year ^_^ but end of this year, no. I forbid it. But I have a strange feeling JYP won’t let them get away with going free for the last months of 2010.

There’s been so much drama in 2010 and what I would really appreciate is just that they slowly come back to variety, perhaps have their own show at the end of this year and rest in December, hopefully. No-one will think this year was perfect for 2PM but what I dread is the day of their 2nd anniversary and the day Jay’s Myspace Incident broke out, September 4th.

f(x):

I was just thinking that even though they promoted earlier this year, there may be a chance of them promoting again, perhaps a full album this time too?

MBLAQ:

It’s just a guess but what if they come back because BEAST are making their own comeback? It’s guranateed especially since October is also their 1st anniversary too. Geez, it’s really gone so quick hasn’t it?

U-KISS:

Another prediction, I heard rumors they were supposed to comeback in the summer along with BEAST but then they were doing some tour around Asia and well…I don’t know. It would be nice to see U-KISS comeback right?

Now for the rumors that I heard last year…

SM ‘new boy group’ – Male version of SNSD?

And much younger too! Hm, not sure what I feel about this boy group but that same thing I’ve said about f(x), SHINee so I shall wait and see if the rumor is true and if they debut this year.

JYP ‘new boy group’ – Crossfire?

The same opinion towards them like before, I shall wait and see. But I am interested to see how the two rejects from Hot Blood fare in a new group called…Crossfire?? Interesting.
