Really now, two out of the four Queens of J-Pop need to go on holiday and need some inspiration.
神田 來未 / Koda Kumi
Koda Kumi, you disappoint me this year. UNIVERSE was supposed to be an amazing album but the only songs I liked were: Step into My World, No Way, Stay and Comes Up and I’m planning on making a fanmade MV of UNIVERSE.
TRICK started to show how exhausted and repetitive her singles were becoming. It wasn’t such a bad album but nothing beats KINGDOM. I did like TABOO, physical thing, Ecstasy, Lick Me but It’s All Love was the turning point. The collaboration with her sister was boring and rubbish.
浜崎 あゆみ / Ayumi Hamasaki
I recently just listened to moon and really, I wasn’t impressed with it at all. Reminded me of Is This Love but slower…this year from Ayumi’s album, Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus which looked like it was a very promising album turned out to only have one song that I liked: Last Links.
Usually, I’m not into her songs a lot. The only song that has grabbed my attention immediately is Mirrorcle World. Got to be my favourite song from her. And from her previous album, NEXT LEVEL the only songs I liked from that was the single Rule, LOVE ‘n’ Hate and Green.
Personally, I think Namie Amuro needs a break too but I miss Utada Hikaru taking over. WHERE ARE YOU, Hikaru? T_T

Namie doesn’t need a break. Her last album was real good and she takes more rest than Kumi and Ayu. Seriously, where in the world is Hikki?
Ayu and Utada should switch places; Hikki comes back and releases awesome singles+albums while Ayumi takes a break and gets fat.

Seriously!! I keep saying it, Ayu and Kuu need to stop and take a breather. Find some inspiration man. As for Namie she’s really good right now, have you heard Break It and Get Myself Back? Get Myself Back is lovely but Break It is nothing special.
BOTH OF THEM AREN’T WORTH IT! That’s why she needs some inspiration too! I think 2007/08 was the best years for her in my opinion when I got into her.
Aww I like Get Myself Back though I’m sure after that AMAZING ass album she released she does need a break to recharge her batteries.
BoA needs a break too x.x I swear, she looks dead inside.
