How could the creators of Beyblade do this? Replacing the well-loved originals for these people? Ever since I saw the first 10 minutes of Metal Fight Beyblade (so now they are also selling dangerous beyblades instead of original plastic ones, I think), I cannot watch this season at all. They’ve replaced Tyson, Max, Ray, Kai, Daichi, Chief a.k.a Kenny and Hilary with a TyKai wannabe, Hilary’s ugly stepsister, Burger King, a Street Rat and…some Random kid. ¬_¬

They were better off leaving the series at Season 3. Or…like many people suggested, make the Season 4 cast as the original’s children, makes sense right? Since in the manga, they all settled down and had children. I don’t think the creators of Beyblade were thinking straight when they made the fourth season, wouldn’t it have been better after the third season to continue from there?
I think they would have gone two more seasons with the same voice actors and given up. Still, I’m grateful for just the three, not the fourth. Bring it out again with a new cast just shows that they just want money. They should of just made a whole new anime, it would have saved us all trouble.
Sure I haven’t watched as much as the 10 mins of the video above bu I’m sure other beyblade fans of the past would agree that it’s not as good as the first three seasons. And boy! Do I miss them! I wish I had all the manga books and the full DVD collection to reminisce how good it was, so if anyone knows a link where I can buy them, please tell immediately.
I’m sure if I’m curious to care who is who, I would actually watch the newly dubbed episodes or simply go onto Wikipedia but they tried too hard with the main character, that’s why he looks like Tyson and Kai to me because his appearance and attitude resembles both of them. The Street Rat also gives me a Kai feeling too. I’m not ever going to start on the others especially Burger King or the Random Kid.
So, to all the fans of the old and new season (majority must be old), critics, the Beyblade voice cast, staff and the creator of Beyblade, Takao Aoki (たかお 青木) Season 4 is not worth it.
Actually, that’s what I thought about first but I continued to watch it. The season gets REALLY better, by far, later on into the season. The storyline gets deep quickly. It’s quite good actually – much more deeper than the first season of Beyblade. It actually has something more than just being the ‘BEST’. I’m not degrading the original because the originals are always the best but you cannot judge something based on ten minutes especially if the anime is more than 50 episodes long…
And the main character is nothing like Tyson or Kai. Sure, he looks like them but he’s kinder, is not arrogant and not obnoxious either. He’s quite selfless and has been through A LOT. He wants to be the ‘BEST’ for a deeper purpose/meaning. And the street rat does give a Kai vibe but later on, his personality is more like Ray’s. The girl is also, what I like to call, female Kenny.
Anyway, if you do have a chance, give the new beyblade one. A lot of people at first disliked Gundam 00 but now most people say it’s one of the BEST Gundam series.

well i dont like beyblade season 4 at all ok i know that they have made it and cannot change it but they can make another season by continuing season 3 with ray kai max tyson daichi kenny and hillary. i they’ll make it they earn triple money then season 4…… because as i know many beyblade original fans have dissagreed with season 4 and they r thousands in number n wants the continuation of season 3.
I so agree with you! They could continue season 3 and have all the old teams back and make new challenges and new episodes for all the old characters! the new beyblade, i don’t even call it season 4, because it’s not! it’s not beyblade if it doesn’t even have bit-beasts, yah they can’t get rid of it now either but they don’t have to get rid of the old beyblade, they should make a real season 4 of beyblade that continues on from g-rev. No doubt i would love to see more blitzkreig boys because out of all the teams they focus on them the least even though in g-rev a main character was a big part of them. the new beyblade is just…it’s just not beyblade!
i think they should have it where the characters from season 3 are from another country then they travel somewhere and meet up with the characters from season 4 and combine the two shows that would make it epic
yea…i think they should continue with the old characters..they are amazing.. and plus, after watching all the first 3 seasons, i cant get over it..there is no point of changing the characters, afterall, i learned a lot about beyblading and sports and about true friendship..so to me, they must somehow continue using these old characters with a new beginnig. By the way, can someone tell me a way to convey our messages to the creators of the beyblade so they would start using the old characters again? I’m really desperate for a new story with the same old characters, Kai, Tyson, RAy, Max, and Kenny.
You can always try finding the company and whoever created the anime and ask them? Probably in Japanese too.
They’ve used the 2nd generation for 4 years now so I’ve just accepted that the originals will stay originals and will not be brought back. :/
Glad to find some more fans like me who like old beyblade i’m gonna start petition on a huge scale and request nelvana studios (the one that makes beyblade) to bring back old beyblade..
