Lately, my former favourites, Dong Ban Shin Ki are in a lawsuit with SM. And personally it’s killing me – mentally. Ah, I miss them performing.
The three members, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu are in a lawsuit with the company they are in, SM Enterainment. I would hate to see my favourite, Yoochun lose this case. I just wonder why Yunho and Changmin decided not to be involved and side resign with SM.
I actually want them to win for several reasons:
- SM Entertainment revealed recently, “We split profits with group Dong Bang Shin Ki at the ratio of 4:6.” For DBSK, I don’t like it.
- Because of No. 1, we can see that most K-Pop artists do not earn as much as money as some non-Koreans thought.
- The number of years in their contract…13?! That’s quite long really now.

Alot of Cassiopeians are praying that they win the lawsuit and have signed 12 books but the reason…I can’t remember now. There’s a fan-made video made to get many people to support them and I bet 800,000 fans and more watched it:
I never thought to watch it until now. Whoever made this is a genius. They have gone through so much together.
From their debut in 2003 to 2009.
The time they debuted with Hug, success with Rising Sun and O – Jung.Ban.Hap in 2006 and then coming back last with Mirotic.
They’ve won so many awards, gone through so many accidents, put a lot of hard work and gone through so much suffering and pain.
I hope this lawsuit is won by DBSK yet, I still hope they will be together. Even if they used to be my favourites, I still want them to be continue on singing. ^_^
The thing that I hope for the most out of this is that they can work with SM to make the contract fairer and then come back to Korea to promote. I know they’re popular in Japan and that’s great, but the fans over here miss them a lot.

if 90% share really goes to SM company then DBSK member earns so little!! Its so unfair

whoa dont think its 9)% thats like who would sign a contract? they work super hard n they’re like money machines as they’re no.1 boyband in the world! psha SM is not stupid to let their money machine go away like that!
SM town will give in. DBSK is too valuable to give up so SM town will do whatever it takes. I mean DBSK has brought in alot of money and publicity to SM town that they are too valuable to lose and Im pretty positive that DBSK will win in this case because Im sure that any company will take DBSK under their wing. And serves SM right fucking hell how they make a contract so bad. Why do you think Yoochun ended up ill? it’s obvious people. SM town needs to consider their artist and less about money.
DBSK is starting to make ripples over here even in my small town in Canada – introduced to me by a friend who is a dance choreographer – and we are not Korean, Japanese or Asian – we can’t understand them, but that doesn’t matter. They are talented, and perform with heart and courage, and a sincerity and vulnerbility that you won’t see in performers in North America. Even on Youtube, which is the only place to see them here, it is obvious sometimes that they are exhausted. And never seem to have a moments privacy. But they keep on going. The thing that is most precious about them is their obvious bond with each other. So rare in this world. I hope that SM Entertainment realizies the treasure they have in them, and how they show us their spirit and strength; perhaps a glimpse of the courage of the young people in Korea, I don’t know, but I hope all five of them come through this whole and happy – that’s all that matters to me.
Lots of these Kpop stars are extremely exhausted. There is a clip of Jaebum who fell asleep for a few seconds on stage. He woke up just in time to sing/dance his part. Whew! Hopefully he got some sleep after their concert at that time.
